Description

This January, join us for two illuminating art exhibits during the 2019 Napa Lighted Art Festival!

Event Details

During this nine-day event, local and international artists will use light and video art, 3D video mapping projections, lighted sculptures, and more to create a stunning lighted landscape throughout downtown Napa and the Oxbow District, including at Copia.

The Museum of the Moon by Luke Jerram
Have you ever wondered what the dark side of the moon looks like? This awe-inspiring art installation will provide guests the rare opportunity to orbit the moon, right in our outdoor amphitheater! Measuring nearly 23-feet in diameter, the illuminated moon features a highly detailed look at the lunar landscape from imagery collected by NASA. The installation is a fusion of lunar imagery, moonlight, and sound composition created by award-winning composer, Dan Jones.

Somebody to Love by Deanna Marsh
This interactive lighted sculpture encourages guests to walk through the center and meet in the middle, where colorful LED shapes react as you move within the space. As you travel through the portal, the lights move and dance in an array of vibrant colors.
