Was your high school prom one of your favorite memories? Or did you not have the experience you always dreamed of....
The Hickory Public Schools Education Foundation is giving you a chance to relive — or redo — your prom with the 2019 SECOND CHANCE PROM!
Grab your favorite prom outfit from the past or create the perfect prom look you always wanted! Ask your perfect date or gather your most fun group of friends to have the time of your life at the Second Chance Prom. This year’s theme is the 1980’s, so come ready to dance to the 80’s hits and dress in your favorite retro style!
Tickets may now be purchased for the Second Chance Prom, sponsored by the Hickory Public Schools Education Foundation Inc. Tickets are $35 for one person or $60 for a couple. All tickets includes hors d’oeuvres, dancing and good times.
This is an adults-only event; all ticket buyers and attending guests must be 21 years of age or older.
The Hickory Public Schools Education Foundation is hosting the Second Chance Prom to raise funds for the district while celebrating the foundation’s support of Hickory Public Schools. All proceeds from the event go to benefit the Hickory Public Schools.
The event will be held from 8-11 p.m. Saturday, April 13th, at Market on Main in Downtown Hickory (335 Main Ave SW).
Dress for men can range from vintage prom attire to Sunday best. Women are invited to wear a prom dress or to pull together a retro or contemporary style that reflects any decade of choice.
This will be a fun night to visit with Hickory area alumni and folks from communities across the county and beyond.
