Description
The choir was founded in 1997 by Florence M. Jowers, Associate Professor of Music at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. LRYC welcomed its third director, Cory Westby, in 2016. The choir accepts children from ages eight to eighteen by audition into either the beginning (Minnesinger) or advanced (Meistersinger) choruses.
