City of Hendersonville Document Shred & Drug Take Back. Document shred is only open to City of Hendersonville residents. Up to two boxes or 50 lbs. will be accepted and business shredding is prohibited. The public may drive through or stay to watch the document destruction. The drug take back is open to Henderson County residents. Expired, unused, prescription and over the counter medication is accepted. No chemotherapy drugs, needles or EpiPens will be accepted. This is a free event to City of Hendersonville residents. Please bring non-perishable food items to donate to Interfaith Assistance Ministries (IAM).
