Father's Day Feast: Fire, Foraging and Fur (2 day):

In this two day class, students will dive deeply in the ancient art of making fire from sticks, and will then proceed to prepare their own dinner by cooking it on the fire that they created.

Furthermore, students will learn how to process and tan roadkill animal hides using the fire as well. Add in some local wild foraging and this will be a feast fit for a king! What a great treat for the Fathers in our lives!

Students will camp overnight on Friday. Students are responsible for bringing their own camping supplies (tenting, bedding, warm layers, sharp knife, flashlight, mess kit). Water and Friday night dinner will be provided. Since this is an introductory class, please feel free to bring as much gear as you need to feel comfortable so you can learn.

Students 12 and up are welcome with accompanying adult and ticket
